A love not to be trifled with!!

(7-30-09)The Love of God, how can it be?What motivates it and if we could, could we even capture it with words?

I’ve read that it’s a jealous love thatis envious of anything that daresto take the place of it.But don’t we, on a daily basis render ourselves to another that only provides temporal satisfaction and not eternal rest.

If God is to be the groom and we are to be His bride, than when we give ourselves over to our various and different unclean lusts, aren’t we adulterer’s.We have a daily affair with the world in which we wine, dine, and bed with it and do so knowingly and willingly.

While doing this great treachery, it can be seen by our lovingand jealous groom who just so happens to be the one who love us and the onewho created our very flesh.We do the things that we don’t want to and we can’t seem to do the things that we should, with all reason and common sense, do.
